However, if you wish to alter the floor level on the map or create no-go zones, you'll have to manually reset it in order to do so, which is somewhat of an inconvenience.

The IQ app provides advanced mapping and automated features, but it lacks no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. Its smart-pathing system allows for greater maneuverability and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is effective, although it can get caught in the tassels of the rug.

In our tests, we discovered that the IQ handled pet hair well. It was able to remove lots of debris on bare floors and a decent amount of medium-pile rug. It was less effective on shag carpets, as it was unable to reach dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It was able to navigate the legs of chairs, small spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice it was a little slower on floors with no flooring but it quickly recovered and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tried.

The IQ is a more suitable option for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery life and is better at navigating obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to tackle sticky mess. On the other hand the iRobot is built better and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and has lower recurring costs and can even create virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It can continue cleaning the point it started, even if the battery is out before it has finished. The iRobot can also be controlled using voice, which is a major benefit for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S from Eufy isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available, but it does offer powerful cleaning capabilities at a low price. The RoboVac 11S is made for those who are budget conscious and don't require a complicated mapping system, or even an app, to control it. This Robot cleaner with mop will last for over an hour. Then, you can manually steer the device around it and return it to working.

The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the Eufy11S. It allows you to set up the robot to automatically adjust the suction strength based on the type of floor and the amount of the mess. The remote control makes it simple to guide the 11S to the desired place.
